This evening's "Historically Black" feature will be short and sweet! Tonight's article celebrates Larry Nance, this first winner of the NBA Slam Dunk Contest! The 6 foot 10 inch power forward made history in 1984, when he narrowly defeated the legendary Julius Erving--also known as DR. J. Congratulations to Blake Griffin for winning the Slam Dunk Contest this year, and it's only right we celebrate the 1st winner tonight!.
